    Job Description Summary

    The Global Account Manager, Government & Military is responsible for driving top line incremental revenue into the Sonesta family of brands.

    This role reports directly to the Global Account Director, Government & Military of Global Sales.

    Job Description

    Areas of responsibility:


    Ability to manage complex accounts as well as other responsibilities determined by the Global Account Director, Government & Military of Global Sales.

    Verticals Group and Individual Travel with Total Account Management (TAM) segment focus.
    Strong focus on account new business development related to potential accounts and growth of existing accounts.
    Research, identify, work with appropriate industry leaders, customers, and influencers.
    Attends and participates in trade shows, industry meetings, sales efforts, bid presentations, and sales calls.
    Evaluate and streamline business processes.
    Contract negotiation.
    Support of hotels' business and revenue needs.
    Closing business.
    Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas verbally and in writing.
    Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence, as well as motivate and influence others.

    Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other Team Members as appropriate.

    Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
    Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate basic spreadsheets.

    Requirements:
    Minimum of 10 years of working experience in hospitality sales.
    4-year college degree in business or hospitality management preferred.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range:
    $80,000 to $100,000.

    Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience
