The Washington Commanders are hiring an Events Intern who will be responsible for assisting with execution of Special Events and Major Stadium Events at Commanders Field.

Major duties and responsibilities:

Assisting with execution of Special Events and Major Stadium Events under the direction of Event Manager
On-site major event support
Assisting fans & guests at events by providing knowledgeable information & helpful assistance
Brainstorm and collaborate with departments enhancing guest experience strategies and special event projects
Create event timelines and logistic maps
Support as manager on duty for events
Complete 1-2 intern department projects during the internship for skillset growth
Manage Fantasy Football Frenzy event from conception to completion
Lead as gameday MOD for one home game this season, overseeing pregame hospitality events

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
1 year of experience working in either events, operations, or marketing
Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned tasks
Ability to work all Commanders home games
Passion for sports and live entertainment

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience working with Microsoft office
A professional demeanor with the ability to interact with our fans, professional athletes & executive front office personnel
The ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work well in a fast paced and team environment
Creative and strategic thinker
Collaborative team-player with well-developed interpersonal skills
