- Develop and oversee the implementation of a specialized TBI rehabilitation program within the skilled nursing facility, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with TBI to evaluate cognitive functioning, emotional adjustment, and psychosocial needs.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, nurses, and social workers, to develop integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address cognitive impairments, emotional challenges, and behavioral issues associated with TBI.
- Offer support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process, fostering a therapeutic alliance and promoting optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment interventions as needed, and evaluate the effectiveness of the TBI program through outcome measures and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in TBI rehabilitation to inform program development and ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.

- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of Virginia.
- Specialized training or experience in neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology, or TBI rehabilitation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience working with individuals with TBI or other neurological conditions in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in administering and interpreting neuropsychological tests and measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
