    Human Resources Generalist Job Highlights:

    • Coordinates and performs recruitment activities, interviews and evaluates candidates for selected positions and maintains related records.
    • Conducts exit interviews with separating employees and shares pertinent information with management.
    • Maintains confidential information while providing services to all employees and applicants.
    • Manages the FMLA process and paperwork to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state legislation.
    • Manages Worker's Compensation program to include claims management, risk management and related safety programs. Prepares injury reports to submit to insurance carrier for processing.
    • Monitors the tracking of OSHA required data.
    • Participates in the new hire orientation process to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed within the established regulations.
    • Effectively deals with employee relations issues and provides oversight in conflict resolution.
    • Updates/maintains all personnel and medical files for employees.
    • Monitors and advises managers/supervisors in the progressive disciplinary system of the company.

    Human Resources Geeralist Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Management, and one to three years of related Human Resources experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
    • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement, preferred.
    • Above average oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
    • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
    • Superior organizational skills.
