    ABOUT THE FIRM

    Berger Montague PC is a well-known civil litigation firm with a team of over 100 attorneys. The Firm is recognized for introducing class actions in antitrust and securities litigation and has since broadened its application in consumer, employment, environmental, insurance, civil, and human rights litigation.     The Firm is currently looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their antitrust department and provide administrative assistance to the San Francisco office. Employees are currently following a hybrid work model, requiring them to be in the office two days per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support assigned attorneys in all stages of litigation
    • Prepare various written materials including memos, emails, reports, etc.
    • Conduct legal and factual research
    • Proofread documents, check references, and organize exhibits
    • File paperwork in state and federal courts
    • Organize documents for depositions
    • Assist in trial and appeals processes
    • Maintain physical and electronic files
    • Manage administrative tasks for the San Francisco office
    • Potential need for occasional overnight travel

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in federal cases, preferably involving class actions
    • Adept at handling large discovery volumes and electronic filings
    • Experience in cite-checking and keen attention to detail
    • Proficient in Westlaw, iManage, and Relativity
    • Willingness to work late when necessary for time-sensitive assignments
    • Highly organized, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced setting
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
    • Capable of working independently and collaboratively
    • Professional demeanor in client and peer interactions
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience with appellate filings is a plus
    • Skilled in project management, including IT and office coordination
