    Dermatologist Job Description

    gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established Dermatology Clinic in the New Orleans area. We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist to join their team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, including but not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer
    • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' skin and provide appropriate treatment plans
    • Perform minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
    • Recommend and prescribe medications, creams, and ointments for dermatological conditions
    • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in dermatological treatments and techniques

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provide exceptional patient care and build strong relationships with patients
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive treatment plans
    • Keep accurate and detailed medical records of patients' visits, treatments, and progress
    • Educate patients on skin health, preventive measures, and the importance of regular skin screenings
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge

    Skills:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in General, Medical, and Surgical Dermatology
    • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop accurate treatment plans
    • Proficient in performing dermatological procedures, including biopsies and excisions
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions
    • Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment This position offers a generous salary ranging from $250,000 to $450,000, based on experience and qualifications.
