About Everett Leslie:

My name is Everett Leslie and I graduated from the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana with a major in Geology. I began my career at Regenesis Bioremediation in Mishawaka, Indiana and moved back to New Orleans to continue my career as a Laboratory Operations Manager with Gulf Shore Construction Services in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am currently a Geoscientist-In-Training and am actively applying for my professional geologist license.

• Directed in-situ soil and groundwater remediation projects with crews of 2-12 individuals and budgets of $250,000 to >$1 million

• Coordinated with clients and subcontractors to complete onsite drilling and injections within project timelines and under budget

• Analyzed lithological core samples using the Munsell color system and determined effective and total porosity of the area.

• Oversaw all aspects of onsite health and safety plan to ensure safety of crew, contractors, and clients during drilling and injection

• Analyzed YSI data to ensure the project was successful and if reading were not desired, changed the scope of work as needed

• Perform lab management by adhering to state and national testing procedures and maintaining calibrations for field and lab equipment.

• Perform site geotechnical investigations through analysis of soil borings and various soil lab tests.

• Perform lab tests such as UCS, UU, tensile, direct shear, Atterberg limits, unit weight, relative density, remold, hydraulic conductivity, and grain and

  particle size analyses.

• Perform nuclear soil density testing to provide quality control for compaction requirements in soils and construction materials.

• Create and perform testing on lab soil-cement mixes designed for proposed levee, cutoff-wall, and other deep soil mixing projects.
