Join ROADS Community Clinic - East Long Beach as an Intake Coordinator (Mobile Clinics)
and make a meaningful difference to our community's most vulnerable members. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about helping people.**
Position Overview:The Intake Coordinator (Mobile Clinics) will work with patients at Board and Care facilities needing services from our Mobile Clinics to screen them for eligibility, assist them with enrolling as patients of the Clinic, gather all relevant information, work with Board and Care facility staff, and schedule patients.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in intake in a medical office preferred.
  • Experience working with Board Care facilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of various insurances.
  • Experience with electronic health records systems.
  • Must be organized, detailoriented, and able to multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist individuals enrolling as patients of the Clinic.
  • Determine insurance eligibility, certifications, and authorizations.
  • Screen patients by telephone or in person for service eligibility.
  • Work with Board and Care facility staff to streamline enrollment, scheduling, and various patient needs.
  • Gather and enter into the EHR system appropriate and accurate patient information.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

From $22.00 per hour
