- Manage generalist book of varied industry accounts and sizes.
- Evaluate client insurance needs and provide expert advice on policy options, coverage limits, and risk management strategies.
- Negotiate with carriers to obtain the best possible terms and pricing for clients.
- Prepare and present client proposals, including coverage recommendations and pricing details.
- Ensure all policy documentation and related materials are accurate and up-to-date.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting commercial lines insurance and E&S lines.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management, with a focus on commercial insurance and E&S lines.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and coverage options, including E&S lines.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with carriers and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC) a plus.
- Experience with Agency Management Systems (AMS360 and ImageRight preferred)
