All of our products are GMP compliant and meet the MIT45 Gold Seal of Approval, which is far more stringent than the industry requirements- all of which rely on equipment that must be maintained at the highest level of quality.

In this role, you will repair and maintain equipment within our manufacturing operations, rotating through multiple stations, preserving equipment including preventive maintenance. Additionally, you will be working on new equipment implementation and line efficiencies.

A flexible schedule may be needed to work with and around production schedules and may include some night shifts.

Responsibilities:

Install, Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair issues with various machinery, including encapsulation machines, conveyor or transfer belts, heat tunnels, label machines, etc.
Troubleshooting electrical components, PLC's, VFD's and AC/DC circuits.
Operating scissor lift and forklift.
Install/ Maintain facility infrastructure components and materials.
Use various different software to track project status and equipment PM's, repairs, downtime and materials used.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

A minimum 5 years' experience servicing and repairing factory equipment, with preference for experience in a food- or pharmaceutical-based production facility.
Proficiency with computers, email, and other technology.
A valid driver's license.
Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
A positive attitude and an enthusiasm for teamwork/collaboration.
Self-motivated, with drive to meet the highest standards of excellence.

Physical Requirements
The employee is often required to stand or sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced. Employee may be required to lift 10-50 lbs, at times. The work environment can be humid and warm depending on equipment being used for the day.
