Research Associate (M/F/x)

The Vodafone Chair of Mobile Communications Systems at the Institute of Communication Technology within the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Research Associate (M/F/x).

Responsibilities:

Conduct research in the field of digital system design for wireless communications technology, focusing on one of the following topics:
Hardware accelerator design for high-speed wireless modems
Processor design for software-defined radio implementation, including participation in a strategic EU initiative for trustworthy 6G hardware platforms in collaboration with major industry players such as RISC-V, Cadence, and Synopsys.
Hardware accelerator design for AI engines, specifically for automated driving in partnership with German car manufacturers.
Processor design for customized AI
