- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term tactical and operational plans to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Establish monitoring and auditing processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including rebate calculations, fee reviews, and reconciliation.
- Policy Development: Create and implement policies for widespread contract compliance.
- Communication: Liaise between departments to communicate contract requirements and assist with reconciliations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to contract compliance.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract compliance for senior management.
- Training/Education: Provide staff training on contract compliance policies and stay updated on relevant regulations.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve disputes related to contract compliance with legal and other departments.
- Contract Negotiation Support: Assist legal teams during negotiations to align terms with compliance standards.
- Minimum 10 years related experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, ideally in a role aligned with a DC/Supply Chain Controller.
- Strong accounting background with a keen business sense, enabling you to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive profitability.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and challenge vendors when necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Expertise in inventory control and management, with a track record of optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
- Thorough understanding of contract compliance and auditing processes, with the ability to apply accounting analytics to ensure adherence.
- Proficiency in building and analyzing business analytics, including exception reports, to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
