    Summary

    We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented team member inspired by our mission to bring better health and wellness to older adults. The ideal candidate for this position knows the ins and outs of Amazon Seller Central and works in the platform daily. The Amazon/Wholesale Demand Planner will work closely with the Directors of Planning, Merchandising, Operations and Finance teams to forecast inventory needs, build out wholesale sales models, manage the day-to-day operations of the Amazon business and help launch new lines with marketplace and wholesale partners as the company continues to expand. This role reports to the Senior Director of Inventory Planning.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Oversee inventory and replenishment on Amazon and for other marketplaces/wholesale partners including Walmart
    • Run daily, weekly and monthly reporting
    • Work closely with support resources including a contract Amazon Account Manager
    • Maintain and iterate on sales forecasting models
    • Work closely with the Director of Planning and Head of Finance to create quarterly and annual category level financial forecasts
    • Write, send and track SOs
    • Work with Operations Manager and warehouse teams to track sales orders/updates and facilitate smooth outbound transactions
    • Identify, monitor and resolve any exceptions from Amazon inbound inventory processing
    • Create and maintain item level forecasts and inventory targets
    • Hindsight previous season forecasts and purchasing
    • Complete ad hoc special projects to optimize fulfillment strategies
    • Quickly resolve PDP and listing issues in Seller Central

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 1-3 years inventory planning experience
    • Previous experience with FBA sales/analytics and working in Seller Central (Amazon)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong Excel/Google Sheet and modeling skills
    • Ability to analyze data/reports
    • Ability to build a sales and inventory forecast plan (replenishment forecasting)

    Baseline understanding of building, updating and reading

    • Ability to work independently and with a team
    • Desire to "get in the weeds" to analyze sales and inventory
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. You roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary to drive initiatives to completion
    • Detail oriented
    • Knowledge of EDI and Netsuite a plus

    For this position, the reasonably expected pay is $75,000-$95,000 for the level scoped. This position is also eligible for stock options and a competitive benefits package. Your pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range may apply.
