    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategy.

    The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our credit union, ensuring sound fiscal management, and driving sustainable growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the credit union's objectives and long-term vision.
    Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    Provide strategic guidance and analysis to senior leadership and the board of directors on financial matters.
    Manage liquidity, investment portfolios, and asset-liability management to optimize returns while managing risk.
    Lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities.
    Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
    Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; and CPA.

    Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior financial leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably at a credit union or community bank.

    Deep understanding of financial management principles, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards applicable to credit unions.
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Demonstrated ability to manage change, drive results, and adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
    Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and serving the best interests of members and stakeholders.
