    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our credit union, ensuring sound fiscal management, and driving sustainable growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the credit union's objectives and long-term vision.
    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Provide strategic guidance and analysis to senior leadership and the board of directors on financial matters.
    • Manage liquidity, investment portfolios, and asset-liability management to optimize returns while managing risk.
    • Lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
    • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; and CPA.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior financial leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably at a credit union or community bank.
    • Deep understanding of financial management principles, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards applicable to credit unions.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage change, drive results, and adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
    • Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and serving the best interests of members and stakeholders.
