    Settle
    Settle San Francisco, United States

    Default job background
    Description
Settle is on a mission to make buying inventory super easy.

Since the company's inception in 2019, we've been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders and small business owners to more easily manage their company's financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible financing tools.

We already work with some amazing brands that you probably know and love, like Branch, Olipop, Starface, Ghia, and Italic.

Settle is expanding its reach in the consumer brands sector through strategic partnerships with leading software platforms like Finaloop, Cin7, and thought leaders like RangeMe, With Coverage and Crstl.

As Head of Partnerships, you will lead and expand our partnership efforts, driving collaboration and integration initiatives that enhance distribution and stickiness of our cash flow management solutions for e-commerce and retail companies.

    What you'll do:

    Strategize and Oversee Partnerships:

Develop a clear strategic plan for each partnership, including integration roadmaps, co-marketing campaigns, and mutual growth targets, ensuring a seamless experience for mutual customers.

    Build and Maintain Strong Relationships:

Serve as the primary contact for partners such as Finaloop, Cin7, Crisp, and others, nurturing relationships and negotiating terms that favor both Settle and its partners.

    Collaborate Across Teams:

Work closely with Settle's engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align on partnership goals, technical requirements, and market launch strategies.

    Drive Technical Integrations:

Oversee the technical integration of Settle's platform with partners, improving functionalities like API integrations, ensuring our solution offers superior performance and user experience.

    Market and Promote Collaborations:

Coordinate with partner marketing teams to design and execute marketing initiatives that promote the partnership and drive user adoption and engagement.

    Measure Impact and Scale Success:

Track the performance of partnerships through KPIs like customer acquisition, activation rates, and user feedback, scaling successful initiatives to maximize impact.

    Know When to Move On:
Lots of partnerships start off with the best intention but quickly go awry or fail to produce results. You're not married to any one approach or partner, and can curtail efforts quickly where results aren't forthcoming.

    What you'll need:
    Proven Experience:

5+ years in partnership management, business development, or a related field within the Software/SaaS or FinTech sectors.

    Strong Negotiation and Relationship Skills:
Ability to manage and expand partnerships through effective negotiation and relationship management. Revenue share, flat referral, co-marketing campaigns - you know how to match approach with audience.

    Technical Aptitude:
Comfort with software integrations and working closely with technical teams to drive product enhancements and integrations. Experience with Accounts Payable / Purchasing software a plus

    Strategic Thinker:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to plan long-term and act decisively in fast-paced environments. Our goals are quarterly with a strong month over month focus.

    Excellent Communicator:
Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and influencing others internally and externally. Be it on a Zoom call, Slack, over email or in person - you can galvanize buy-in across teams.

    Leadership:
Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve partnership goals and drive business growth.

    Compensation:
This role has an annual starting salary range of $150,000 - $215,000 + equity + benefits.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills, prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role).

Benefits & perks that we offer:

    Unlimited PTO
    Flexible and remote work culture
    Competitive compensation and equity
Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
Lunch & commute reimbursement when working in the NYC office located near Union Square

We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
