- Manage all aspects of financial reporting for the investment funds, including quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor fund performance and prepare performance metrics and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee fund cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, managing capital calls and distributions, and optimizing cash flow.
- Collaborate with investment professionals to analyze and evaluate financial data related to investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
- Assist with fundraising activities, including preparing financial presentations and materials for potential investors.
- Provide support and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Experience in, or exposure to, middle market lending and private equity activity including first lien and junior capital types of structures.
- Proactively seeks ways to constantly improve processes and implement best-in-class solutions.
- 7-10 years of experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm with a focus on asset management clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Wall Street Office software (WSO) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and CPA.
- Be self-motivated, proactive, well organized, and resourceful.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive can-do approach to responsibilities and work collaboratively with others.
