    We are hiring an associate attorney with a one to five years experience in litigation. The applicant should be proficient in Word, Excel, electronic efiling, Clio (or similar client management platforms) and Box (or similar document storage platforms). The job responsibilities include

    • Draft pleadings (initial) or draft response to same
    • Draft discovery requests
    • Draft and eserve documents including applications for temporary relief, temporary restraining orders, affidavits (confer with counsel on planning), briefs on law, motions, and final orders.
    • Communicate and calendar events including hearings, trials, discovery deadlines, and expert deadlines.
    • Work with Clients to prepare them for hearing.
    • Assist in settlement negotiations, including summaries of relevant issues and drafts of settlement proposals.
    • Draft proposed stipulations and Rule 11 agreements.
    • Draft pleadings and final orders.
    • Prepare for trial, including reviewing file for problems and drafting amended pleadings if necessary.
    • Prepare attorney's fee exhibit and supporting documentation with estimated total cost through end of hearing.
    • Coordinate post-hearing follow-up and inform attorney of any noncompliance.
    • Draft quit claim deeds or other documents for transfer of property ownership.
    • Draft motion for contempt or show cause orders.
