    Reports to: The Executive Director

    FLSA Status: (X) Exempt ( ) Non Exempt

    The Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance Officer:

    Will oversee and manage quality assurance activities, requirements, and internal controls.

    Ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures to meet the organization's Standards of Conduct.

    Responsible for creating, updating, and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

    Collaborates with the Human Resources Department to develop a comprehensive compliance training program for employees.

    Manages audits, investigations into regulatory issues, and responds to requests from regulatory bodies.

    Supports quality-focused committees.

    Quality Assurance Duties

    Duties and responsibilities include:

    • Analyze and implement quality improvement processes throughout the organization.
    • Develop and update policies and procedures in coordination with the executive/management team.
    • Monitor organization processes, including data collection on persons served.
    • Conduct on-site inspections and audits to ensure program compliance with regulations.
    • Identify control points, establish critical limits, and monitor procedures to maintain standards.
    • Prepare quality reports by analyzing trends and information on processes.
    • Collaborate with Department Heads to implement a training program for employees.

    The Corporate Compliance Duties

    • Serve as the HIPAA Compliance and Privacy Officer.
    • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and implement internal controls.
    • Review and update Standards of Conduct periodically.
    • Oversee the Compliance Hotline and handle compliance issues.
    • Respond to violations and ensure appropriate investigative procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations within the organization.
    • Monitor and report on compliance efforts and provide guidance to the Board and Management.
    • Act as a resource for compliance matters.

    Other duties as assigned

    This role involves regular contact with individuals receiving services, requiring a complete background check.
