- Greets and welcomes members and guests in a friendly manner and directs them to the appropriate person for assistance or provides fitness center information.
- Checks in members, collects guest fees, and ensures they are signed in the facilities tracking system.
- Assist with new memberships, renew existing memberships, and ensure all members are up to date on accounts.
- Answers telephone and email inquiries, provides information to members and potential members about the gym, and takes any messages.
- Record tracking of daily member visits, new members, daily revenue, and other reports as required.
- Responsible for increasing new member enrollment and promoting the Gym.
- Assists with sales of merchandise or upselling of higher-tier memberships.
- Helps resolve member issues or conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintains the organization, stocking and cleanliness of the front desk, restrooms, sauna rooms, towels, retail inventory and all other gym areas.
- Schedules appointments for clients.
- Shift change report conveyed to team at end of each shift.
- Performs, at regular intervals, daily walk throughs of the gym to address and maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Team Member may be required to perform other duties as required.
- Have Fun
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Excellent in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Membership relationship management, CRM and/or point-of-sale system experience desired.
- Competent in problem-solving, building relationships, and flexibility.
- Proficient in understanding of fitness equipment and principles.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be available to work day and evening shifts, and some holidays.
