    The Role


    We are seeking highly motivated individuals for our Associate Account Manager Trainee program in the Petroleum & Compliance Division of OWL Services.

    This comprehensive training program combines classroom instruction, hands-on field experience, and mentorship to provide accelerated training in all aspects of our business.

    Over a period of 6 months, trainees will gain a thorough understanding of our operations, customers, and services.

    The goal of the program is to enhance the capabilities of our Management & Sales team through an intensive training curriculum.

    While the primary focus is on sales, trainees will also be equipped to support various operational functions as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities First 3 Months


    Collaborate with service crews in the field to develop technical expertise & gain in-depth knowledge of our company, clients & services provided.

    Rotate through each of the Petroleum Services Divisions, The individual will gain insight into the Construction, UST/Fueling System Service & Compliance (including AccuMeasure, & Tank Cleaning) Divisions of OWL Services.

    The goal is to gain hands on familiarization with the services, equipment & processes of each Division in the Petroleum & Compliance Businesses.

    At least one week of EV Charger training is included in the program. (see below)
    The individual will be teamed up with a Senior Technician in each division
    The individual will work as an apprentice for approximately one month in each division

    The goal of the rotation is to gain some technical expertise, an understanding of the company from a technician's perspective, familiarization of our clients and the facilities they operate.

    Experience the role of a technician at OWL Services and become familiar with the administrative tools used to manage field crews and gain a field perspective of our business operations.

    Learn about our clients & the facilities they operate.

    Familiarization with the equipment in the field to include UST's, Piping, STP Pumps, ATG's, Dispensers, Containment Systems and the equipment associated with each of these categories.

    Participate in periodic classroom training sessions to reinforce knowledge gained in the field and job site experiences.

    The initial onboarding process will include a 3 day training course on fueling systems, how they operate & a general overview of the industry.

    During the first 3 months the individual will also participate in EV training since the petroleum division has been tasked with supporting the EV service group.

    The training will be held in at "the farm" and will take place in the normal EV training intervals.

    Primary Responsibilities 3 To 6 Months


    Work with the Field Quality Managers to learn about the systems that support the field employees, equipment, licensing, transportation & logistics (approximately one month).

    Collaborate with an Account Manager to gain experience in creating schedules, entering work orders, dispatching crews, & compiling proposals (approximately one month).

    Accompany and shadow a salesperson during client prospecting, sales calls & following up on opportunities (approximately one month).

    Complete a Leadership Training Course covering topics such as overcoming adversity, the importance of teamwork, effective listening skills, providing constructive criticism, & cultivating a strong work ethic.

    Complete a Sales Training Course to develop essential sales techniques and strategies.
    Participate in a final review session before assuming the position


    The review will cover:
    Product Knowledge – to address any remaining gaps.
    Internal Process for transitioning a sale into operations.
    Identifying potential clients & lead generation process.
    Review the OWL Services Corporate Goals & initiatives.

    Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    Willingness to work in the field and gain hands-on experience.
    Flexibility to support various operational functions as required.
    Good driving record with no traffic violations
    Requires medical exam in accordance with DOT regulations
