    Cabot has an exciting opportunity for a Sustainable Solutions Business Analytics Manager to join the Global Marketing Reinforcement Materials team at our Boston or Billerica offices.

    This individual will to play a pivotal role in driving data-driven insights and strategies to support our sustainability initiatives and drive positive environmental and social impact. The role will lead the analysis, insights, business case development, and overall program management and execution for the Sustainable Solutions business including energy and other co-product lines. The position will investigate and assess new investment & optimization opportunities across the carbon black network in collaboration with the Manufacturing sustainability, Technology, and Commercialization teams. Develops and implements business plans for the expansion and introduction of products for specific market segments within Sustainable Solutions business unit.

    This role has no direct reports but is a high-impact and visible role within the organization.

    This role participates in the current Flexible Work Arrangement/hybrid schedule of remote days and in-office days.

    How You Will Make an Impact

    Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives. Utilize advanced analytical techniques to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights. Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.* Performance Evaluation: Evaluate key performance metrics and develop reports to track and monitor business performance against targets and benchmarks.* Business Analysis: Develops strategic business plans that include revenue, profitability, growth projections, and resource utilization. Supports Sustainable Solutions business development team to develop short and long-term pricing strategies by working with various functions to determine programs required in executing the business plan. Provides regular estimates of business projections and reports monthly status of programs and projects again the business plan.* Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.* Financial Analysis: Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting activities to support decision-making processes and long-term planning.* Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings, recommendations, and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.* Project Management: Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving business processes, systems, or products/services, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

    What You Will Bring to Cabot

    Bachelor/University degree in a technical field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred. * 4+ years' experience in either industrial marketing, strategy, finance and/or sales.* Ability to create financial models and business case scenarios* Analytical and research skills and ability to review and interpret large amounts of data and provide insight regarding observable trends.* Ability to make decisions and take initiative in the absence of perfect information and to respond to issues quickly and effectively* Ability to influence, collaborate with, and gain agreement from others; leverage and obtain resources even without having direct authority. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to internal and/or external audiences.* Strong conceptual and analytical thinking. Ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions. Ability to understand inter-dependencies of various disciplines impacted by the product plan.* Planning and organization skills in order to coordinate multiple resources, develop and execute business/marketing plans.* Demonstrates a strong command of verbal, written and presentation skills that ensure effective information delivery to all stakeholders
