    As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO.

    IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. This is a fulltime remote internship for 9 months starting in May 2024.

    Responsibilities include and not limited to:

    Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.

    Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end to end testing of the software tools.

    #DesignEnablement Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    You must be actively enrolled in a master's degree program pursuing an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

    6+ months experience with Object Oriented Programming, Coursework in VLSI design, Device physics.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    6+ months experience in the following:
    • Exposure to EDA development/automation/support (Synopsys ICValidator, Siemens Calibre, Cadence Pegasus).
