    Description

    As a Benefit Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administration of employee benefits programs within the organization. You will work closely with the HR team, benefit vendors, and associates to ensure the effective delivery of benefits and assistance with any related inquiries. This role requires a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and excel experience.

    Essential Functions:

    • ADMINISTERS company benefits plans, (i.e., retiree medical, medical, dental LTD, life insurance, dependent care assistance, medical spending account, etc.) PROCESSES and RESOLVES more complicated issues according to company procedures and plan documents.
    • COUNSELS associates on all aspects of benefits programs. Provide support during the benefits enrollment period by assisting employees with the enrollment process, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • DEVELOPS communication materials, and CONDUCTS presentations company-wide to aide managers, supervisors, associates and Benefits Administrators in understanding the various benefit plans and the value of those plans.
    • ASSISTS in researching new or revised benefits programs by reviewing proposals and making recommendations to the Manager. ASSISTS in all aspects of implementation and CONDUCTS large associate meetings on new programs. RESONDS to benefits surveys and COMPILES results to ensure benefit programs are competitive.
    • MAINTAINS accurate employee benefits records and ensure data integrity within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other relevant databases.
    • PROVIDES assistance and guidance to the human resources departments on benefit programs. RESEARCHES and PROVIDES solutions to a wide range of difficult benefit issues.
    • DEVELOPS administrative policies and procedures for the various plans and RECOMMENDS changes to current procedures.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.
    • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in HRIS, specifically Workday and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Certifications such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar are a plus.
    MEETS the requirements specified below:

    • Hybrid position - must be willing to come into the office 3 times a week.

    • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

    • Must be able to multi-task.

    • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.

    • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

    Annual Salary
    $46, $89,000.00
    The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

    Coverage begins on the date of hire. Must enroll in New Hire Benefits within 30 days of the date of hire for coverage to take effect.
