    THE ROLE:
    Aventon is seeking an innovative and strategic Brand Director to lead the development and execution of our brand strategy.

    As a rapidly growing eBike company, we are looking for a branding expert who can build compelling narratives that connect our products to customers' values and lifestyles.

    The ideal candidate will have experience blending technology, sustainability, and culture into holistic branding campaigns.
    We are accepting candidates located in the greater Bellevue, WA area or greater Orange County, CA area.

    What You'll Do:


    Bring your deep passion for cycling, outdoor recreation, and sustainable living to inspire your team and shape authentic brand campaigns that resonate with both cycling enthusiasts and e-bike newcomers.

    Leverage your in-depth understanding of cycling culture and community nuances to craft strategies that directly speak to consumers' identities and aspirations.

    Apply your expertise in e-bike technology and intimate knowledge of the sector's trends and sustainability narrative.
    Demonstrate a solid grasp of e-bike mechanics, benefits, regulations, and how these aspects influence consumer choices and perceptions.

    Unite your background in lifestyle branding and technology to position Aventon as not just a product but an integral part of a progressive, eco-conscious lifestyle.

    Show how you successfully blended product, technology, and lifestyle in markets where culture and community engagement are instrumental.
    Excel at engaging diverse cycling and outdoor communities, advocating for sustainable living, and building loyalty and advocacy among customers.

    Be actively involved through events, partnerships, and initiatives that bring value to the cycling community and broader outdoor lifestyle advocates.

    Craft innovative, multi-faceted marketing strategies that seamlessly meld the world of e-bikes with broader outdoor and recreational interests.

    Apply creative thinking to integrate Aventon products into all aspects of daily life, from commuting to recreational activities, with an emphasis on sustainability and enjoyment.

    Demonstrate digital marketing prowess given e-bikes' tech-oriented market.

    Leverage online platforms, social media, and influencer partnerships to create an expansive, interactive digital presence and community around the Aventon brand.

    Exhibit strong leadership qualities including the ability to motivate teams, unify departments, and compellingly communicate the brand vision.
    Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure complete brand consistency from product development to customer service.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
    Master's Degree preferred
    8+ years leading brand strategy, marketing campaigns or communications5+ years of successfully leading large teams
    Successful track record crafting brand narratives and emotional connections
    Expertise in lifestyle, community and emotional branding approaches
    Deep passion for cycling, outdoor recreation, and sustainable living
    Solid grasp of e-bike technology, sustainability, and cycling culture
    Background straddling lifestyle branding and technology
    Experience with community engagement, events, and advocacy initiatives
    Strong creative vision and ability to integrate brands into lifestyle
    Savvy with digital marketing, social media, and online communities
    Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
