The Role:


The Director of Brand and Marketing will be a crucial part of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and execution of Aventon's brand and marketing initiatives.

This position reports to the CEO and will oversee functional groups including digital marketing, brand, and creative teams ensuring our message resonates with our target audience and aligns with our business goals.


Responsibilties:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand and marketing strategies to support Aventon's business objectives.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage the brand and digital marketing teams to achieve superior performance.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze and interpret customer behavior to refine marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Sales teams to align on product positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Manage budget allocations for branding and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Cultivate relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Represent Aventon at industry events and contribute to the broader strategic discussions about market trends and opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand and marketing management, ideally in the consumer electronics, outdoor sports, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for bicycles, ebikes, or outdoor action sports is highly desirable.
