    Packaging Sales Representative - Illinois, United States - Right Choice Resources

    Our client is a 90+ year-old retail packaging company looking to hire a Packaging Sales Representative anywhere in the Midwest. This is a work-from-home role.

    The base salary is $70,000-$90,000 plus uncapped commissions. Expected first-year earnings are $100,000-$125,000.

    Top earnings are making $200,000+.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prospect, cold call, and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
    • Utilize various channels and techniques to generate leads and identify potential customers.
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and industries effectively.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions and address customer requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.
    • Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay abreast of industry developments to position oneself as a trusted advisor to clients.
    • Leverage networking opportunities and referrals to expand the company's reach and influence in the market.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, upholding its values and reputation in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of proven success in sales within the packaging industry, with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRM systems for sales management and customer relationship development, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and overcome objections.
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with remote team members and support functions.
    • Reside within the Midwest region, with the flexibility to travel up to 25% for client meetings and events.
