    Description

    Job Description and Duties

    • Seeking to fill multiple permanent/full-time Information Technology Specialist II positions in the Information Technology Services Division under the general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I.
    • Works independently as the technical expert on complex software systems and projects, acting as a technical leader in development and maintenance of application services and technologies.
    • Supports complex enterprise application development efforts including planning, analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting.
    • Must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate ethical behavior, and work collaboratively with others.
    • Travel and after-hours support may be required for California Correctional Health Care Services software applications.

    About the location - HQ (Elk Grove)

    Enjoy working at the campus-style office complex with free parking in Elk Grove, located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi.

    Most positions at CCHCS Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) are eligible for telework, with in-person attendance as needed.

    Special Requirements

    • Background investigation and TB testing required for new CCHCS employees.
