Selby Jennings is working with a portfolio company of one of our existing Private Equity clients on a search to add a Senior Analyst to their team.

This individual would be getting a fantastic experience on the operations side of private equity helping the team evaluate their portfolio, build out financial models, and work on planning & analysis.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial models through benchmarking, process analysis and existing internal corporate models
Prepare and present scenario analyses for both corporate financial projections as well as product and service financial models
Analyze and report on current financial status for management and shareholder reporting
Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
Coordinate with the Director of FP&A, COO, CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

3 years of Investment Banking, Financial Analysis, Operations or other related experiences.

Direct, hands-on experience with financial modeling and financial statement analysis. Formal training in a banking or corporate underwriting program is ideal
Support senior investment professionals as requested with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
High level of expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) as well as MS PowerPoint (preparing presentations); experience with Power Pivot and Power BI is a plus
