Position Overview


The position will perform key functions for the Central Finance team in the Financial Services Department - Administrative Support Management Division.

Some of these responsibilities include assisting divisions with the annual budget process, developing financial policies and procedures, monitoring budgets, reconciling, and approving ProCard transactions, reviewing and approving invoices, and managing simple contracts.

    Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience:


  • Experience creating and analyzing financial reports.
  • Experience with budget monitoring.
  • Experience with financial software such as AIMS, eCapris, MicroStrategy, or other related financial and/or business intelligence software system.
  • Ability to travel to more than one work location.

  • Reviews documentation, funding and other information for accuracy and ensures that transactions are processed in accordance with city policy, applicable laws and regulations, and sound business practices.
  • Prepares financial reports by preparing periodic internal and external financial documents, supporting schedules and financial reports to ensure accuracy; researching, compiling, monitoring, and summarizing current and historical financial information and data; and reporting on financial condition and trends.
