About the Team:


The New Restaurant Models team on Merchant S&O innovates fast and capital-light ways to add new restaurant options for our consumers while providing meaningful new revenue streams for our merchant partners.

We are testing and building a wide variety of new restaurant formats, from leveraging physical DoorDash kitchens to licensing brands to be prepared by other restaurants.

The Culinary Strategy team plays a critical role in this work, partnering with merchants and cross-functional teams to develop the operating playbooks to build, test, and launch new brands through new channels.


About the Role:


  • As a
    Strategy and Operations Manager, you'll drive the strategy and development of our supply chain function. You'll help define how we select distributor partners, identify manufacturers, and enable the processes needed to scale brands nationally. This will include building and executing playbooks to scale multiple licenses, while working with crossfunctional teams on to goto market.
  • We're looking for someone who is selfmotivated, highly processoriented, datadriven, and has exceptional interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • You will report into the Director of Culinary Strategy on our New Restaurant Models team in our Merchant Strategy & Operations organization.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy / business development / operations / technology / consulting or related experience.
  • Proven track record of leading highly crossfunctional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fastmoving environment.
  • Expert interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets.

$ $55.00 per hour
