As the CMO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clinical landscape, ensuring quality, and driving organizational sustainability.
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a transformative leader responsible for envisioning and delivering comprehensive clinical services at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center.
The CMO will not only uphold the highest standards of patient care but also contribute to the growth of our organization as a leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare.
As part of the senior leadership team, you will ensure financial viability and enhance patient access to care, making a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve.
Develop and review patient care policies, practice protocols, and organizational policies to align with industry standards.Oversee medical staff policies, recruitment, training, and orientation, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Assume responsibility for resolving patient incidents and reportable incidents, upholding the health center's integrity.
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and develop/implement quality improvement plans.
Lead negotiations for hospital affiliations, establish external relationships for enhanced clinical services.
Supervise Directors of Medicine, Director of Oral Health, and Clinical Directors across specialty programs.
Collaborate in strategic planning, budgeting, and proposal development.
Collaborate with leadership to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, promoting an anti-racist and anti-oppressive culture.
