- Protein and transcript analysis by Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and PCR on treated tumors and cell lines.
- Perform routine lab maintenance and will be responsible for ordering and organizing laboratory consumables.

Position Description:
Grant Funded Position. Continued employment contingent on grant renewals.
The individual will be involved in experimental research regarding a requirement for metabolic changes in the development of treatment resistant disease in breast cancer. This will require standard laboratory bench-work practices, culturing of human cells, and work with animal breast tumor models. Applicants should have experience with basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques, including PCR and Western blotting, and have prior experience in sterile cell culture. Handling and manipulation of rodents for assisting in tumor implantation and therapy treatment is essential for this position. Beyond experimental duties, this individual will be involved in laboratory maintenance and organization/ordering of lab consumables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Potential candidates will have prior experience in rodent cancer models, including animal handling and manipulation for therapy administration and animal surgeries. Further, prior experience in investigating treatment effects (proliferation/survival analysis) in culture models is preferred.
