As the Head of Quality, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout our automotive manufacturing processes.
You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control systems and processes to meet or exceed industry standards.
Lead a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Analyze data and implement corrective actions to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
Drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to address quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to implement best practices in quality management.
Qualifications:
Engineer's degree in a technical field; advanced degree or certification in Quality management is a plus.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a Quality or manufacturing environment for more than 5 years.
Proven experience in a quality leadership role within the automotive manufacturing industry for more than 8 years.
In-depth knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
