Pharmaceutical operations and functions include: managed the quality operation of the pharmacy department, along with dispensing medication; coordinated performance results and guaranteed customer satisfaction. Insured and identified proper formulas and necessary ingredients by thoroughly reviewing prescriptions issued by the nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician. Provided keen oversight in preparing and controlling the pharmacy budget, monitored correct cash flow; evaluated and verified all pharmaceutical invoices for payment. Checked and disposed from stock all misbranded and adulterated drugs, including outdated and not properly labeled drugs. Supervised and monitored storage, cells, dispensing, and compounding of drugs, poisons, and restricted drugs or devices, such as pseudoephedrine and hypodermic needles and syringes.

Strictly followed professional standard and state and federal requirements and compounding and dispensing prescribed medication, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.

Leadership and training include: managed, monitored, and motivated individuals toward completion of tasks and fulfillment of goals. Leveraged knowledge of medical and clinical staff on protocols and patient consents by providing education, training, and supervision.

Interpersonal relations and customer service include: served as subject matter expert and primary contact in addressing customer questions and concerns; provided accurate information to pharmacy customers Regarding medication use, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
