- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll.
- Ensure proper recording of transactions and adherence to internal controls.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis.
- Provide support to department heads in budget planning and expense management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
