Description

Robust company, with year-to-year growth, located in Fort Lauderdale is looking to add a Controller to their Accounting and Finance group. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of all accounting and finance activities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures.
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
Respond to inquiries from the CFO and Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

Active CPA license
6+ years of large company accounting experience and/or public accounting experience from the audit side
Supervisory experience
