    Position is located in Century City, CA.

    Salary:
    $110K

    Essential Functions:
    Accounting experience with hedge fund and private equity real estate fund (bonus).
    Prepare fund shadow books and reconcile to Administrator.
    Reconcile trade files with Administrator and prime brokers.
    Review daily cash and position reconciliations prepared by Administrator.
    Review accrual schedules for monthly closings.
    Review monthly net asset value package prepared by Administrator.
    Calculate management fees and process 3rd party invoices.
    Review monthly performance estimates and final performance numbers to be distributed to investors.
    Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual investor statements for hedge funds and private equity real estate funds.
    Review Administrator investor allocation schedules.
    Prepare monthly exposure and performance reports.
    Assist the tax manager with fund information for tax planning purposes.
    Assist in annual audits and financial statement preparation.
    Review and improve processes and controls.
    Prepare information related to due diligence requests.
    Prepare budgets and cash flow forecast.
    Strong understanding of business and accounting principles including fair value accounting, hedge funds and private equity real estate funds.

    Responsible for leading monthly, quarterly, and annual hedge fund and private equity fund financials, and review of property accounting financials.

    Maintenance of general ledger for various funds and investment entities.
    Monitoring the financial performance of the various funds and investigating budget variances. Preparing responses to financial related questions from lenders, investors, and other stakeholders. Partner with other internal departments to ensure that communications and presentation materials are accurate.
    Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
    Coordinate and prepare hedge fund and private equity real estate entries, including accruals, and fair value entries.
    Assist with special projects related to monthly close reporting process, budgets, internal audit, external audit, investor, and lender requirements.

    Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
    Prepare monthly financial report with variance comments.
    Prepare quarterly and yearly investor statements.
    Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for hedge fund and private equity real estate funds. Coordinate with Fund Administrator.
    Oversee quarterly valuations of the various investments.
    Prepare property management fee calculations.
    Review promotes allocations (waterfalls) calculated by the Administrator.
    Special projects related to monthly close reporting process, budgets, internal audit, external audit, investor, and lender requirements.
    Ensure fund compliance in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
    Other duties relating to manager and finance functions.
