    WWC Global is seeking a Financial Manager to support Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command

    Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT)
    Responsibilities for this position will include day-to-day financial analysis, customer-service focus, and some aspects of team leadership


    Duties may include:
    Conducting reviews of funding documents for accuracy, legality, and compliance with regulations.
    Extracting accounting data from records and financial systems to prepare and analyze reports.
    Researching material and contract charges, updating files, and correcting errors in accounting systems.
    Reviewing invoices and statements, analysis and reconciling of journals or subsidiary ledgers of accounting systems.
    Guiding a team of financial technicians to ensure government deliverables are met.
    Completing company leadership requirements including oversight of time tracking and training requirements.
    Providing backup support to government lead when appropriate.

    Work Environment:
    Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
    Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
    Ability to work in confined areas.

    Physical Demands:
    While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
    Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

    Travel:
    0-10% / Minimal travel expected.

    Basic Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree //OR// 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
    4+ years experience in DOD and FMR accounting procedures and military financial management.
    Ability to favorably pass a Tier 1 federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
    Working knowledge of the PPBE process including budget exhibits/docs.
    Demonstrated experience leading a team with members.
    Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
    Professional proficiency in English is required.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in government contracting.
    Knowledgeable in the DON reimbursable order processing and invoice/voucher.
    2+ years working with CFMS, STARS and/or SABRS.
    Experience with Navy ERP.
    Familiarity with NAVFAC business, especially the Public Works Business Line.
