    Description

    The daily challenges that arise regarding the management of in-house and vendor delivered product is substantial for the Inventory Lead. The Inventory Lead will receive, store, organize and account for product safely and accurately. The incumbent must display a high level of understanding of our onsite storage capabilities, retail floor design, perishable vs. non perishable items, state regulations regarding inventory storage, and storage techniques to maximize our space while maintaining a consistent inventory. The Inventory technician must be an effective communicator as well as work as part of a team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Model the core values of Service, Education & Accountability on a daily basis.

    • Safely store Airfield and vendor products once processed through the intake process

    • Assist with intaking product and verifying with inventory supervisor that all productsmatch invoice, METRC and Manifest

    • Assist with collecting data and processing of invoices and verifying with the inventorysupervisor that all documentation is uploaded and entered accurately.

    • Assist in destroying cannabis product that have been audited by Inventory Supervisor

    • Create info cards for flower displays

    • Facilitate strategies outlines by inventory supervisor or manager to ensure METRC tagaudits are completed

    • Assist in off-menu reports and restocking necessary inventory

    • Intaking quill, uline and office supply orders - organizing and ensuring necessary itemsget to correct departments

    • Keep products organized in vault according to FIFO order, ensure items are properlylabeled

    • Keep any product storage location tidy and organized at all times to maximize efficiency

    • Assist with counting merchandise, office supplies and any product inventory needed andreporting it to inventory supervisor or manager

    • Execute strategies outlined by the inventory supervisor or manager and marketingdepartment to ensure the sales floor is prepared for any type of sale/promotion ofproduct- it is the inventory technicians responsibility to make sure the retail floor is fullystocked with products

    • Help batch any necessary product for compliant and easy restock

    • Restock merchandise, paraphernalia and any needed office supplies

    • Attend related company/department meetings

    Physical Demands and Work Environment
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.While performing the functions of this job, an employee must walk, stand, or remain stationaryduring the entire shift (shifts can be up to 8 hours). The employee is regularly exposed to strongcannabis odors and frequently required to handle cannabis products. Employee must be able tocontinuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping.Employee must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 35 pounds.

    Strong cannabis industry knowledge
    Airfield Managers must possess a firm grasp on all aspects of the cannabis industry and be ableto use that knowledge base to drive key initiatives for the organization. Purchasing managersare expected to use excellent communication skills to keep vendor relationships strong and theirexperienced industry knowledge to hunt for competitive partnerships with well establishedvendors. Time Management & Prioritization
    Airfield employees display excellent time management skills and must be very strategic in howthey allocate their time daily. Prioritization around the most important and immediate needs ofthe business should be the primary driver for planning and executing meetings, checking in withdepartments and offering feedback on projects and proposals. Managers above all other leaders
    in the organization must be able to effectively delegate responsibilities as needed. Exemplary Customer Service & Communication skills
    Airfield Senior managers serves as the very last line of escalation when it comes to speaking tocustomers. Discretion should be used by all retail managers (MOD) prior to escalating customerissues to senior management, but senior managers should always be prepared to field customerconcerns with retention being the primary goal. When communicating with staff, managers willuse their skills to help motivate employees and keep overall team morale high. Managersunderstand the importance of making ethical decisions when establishing interpersonalrelationships with subordinates.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

    • 2+ years experience with supply chain management & inventory reconciliationspreferred.

    • Comfortable managing Microsoft Office tools (Excel, MS word, etc.).

    • Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs overhead.

    • Excellent organizational skills.
