- Manage a team of internal control professionals, including 1 direct report as well as Ecolab Audit Services resources assigned to SAP deployment
- Provide project leadership for various Ecolab stakeholders for SAP deployment internal control objectives, coordinated with timelines and objectives of the broader SAP deployment
- Lead internal control design for SAP deployments (automated and manual controls)
- Provide leadership to entities implementing internal controls as part of SAP deployment, including setting expectations, providing training, and preparing reference materials
- Coordinate with Ecolab Audit Services function as they audit key controls and prepare entities for SOx testing following SAP deployment
- Provide strategic thought leadership to ETS and other stakeholders on internal controls; stay abreast of industry best practice and consider how it could be applied to Ecolab
- Provide leadership for internal control implications of upcoming S/4 HANA implementation
- Ensure project teams maintain appropriate documentation of business processes, internal controls
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, accounting, or finance
- Experience evaluating / auditing SAP processes and controls (manual and automated controls)
- Experience leading business process walkthroughs to identify and evaluate necessary internal controls, including testing the design and effectiveness of embedded controls (automated and manual)
- Experience with internal control testing, including evaluating results, identifying root cause, developing remediation
- Expertise in internal controls concepts and practices, such as COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework and SOX
- Strong understanding of SAP processes, modules, and configurations for ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP GRC and related technologies
- Ability to effectively lead and manage projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, working within project timelines and budgets, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) roughly 15-30% of the time as well as work remotely with stakeholders in various international markets
- Experience with MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- 7 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, accounting, or finance, including 3+ years in either public accounting and/or internal auditing
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- CPA, CIA, CRMA, or MBA certifications
- Experience with SAP Signavio
- Interpersonal skills - Ability to develop relationships and collaborate with various functions, business units, and international markets. Adept at persuasion, influence, and conflict resolution. Propensity to partner with others to achieve common goals

The Global SAP Deployment Finance Manager (Internal Controls) has a unique opportunity to make an impact within Ecolab. Ecolab has implemented SAP in its largest markets and is committed to harmonizing its ERPs by deploying SAP in remaining markets and acquired businesses, as well as upgrade to S4/HANA in the near future. This person will lead deployment work related to the design and implementation of internal controls. This position reports to the leader of the Global SAP Deployment (VP Global Business Transformation) and offers the candidate significant exposure to senior leadership across Ecolab functions, businesses, and international markets.
Location: Ecolab Global Headquarters St Paul, MN or Ecolab Naperville, IL (2nd option). Relocation support may be provided.
