    Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Accounting and Tax Accountant with extensive experience in both accounting principles and tax regulations.

    The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic tax planning.

    This role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing complex client portfolios and leading initiatives to optimize financial and tax strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Reporting and Analysis :
    Prepare accurate financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and provide detailed financial insights to inform business decisions.

    Tax Compliance and Strategy :
    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations while proactively identifying tax-saving opportunities. Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

    Client Advisory :

    Serve as a key advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on financial and tax matters to optimize their financial health and tax positions.


    Regulatory Expertise :

    Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and tax laws, applying this knowledge to benefit clients and the firm.


    Process Improvement :
    Lead efforts to streamline accounting and tax processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

    Team Leadership and Development :
    Mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
    Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and tax roles within a public accounting firm.
    Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, tax preparation, and tax planning.
    Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams and client relationships.
    Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    Proficient in major accounting software and applications.
