Offering a variety of dining options, including breakfast and lunch programs, catering, and retail operations, our client is renowned for their commitment to excellence.
As the Food Service Director, you will play a vital role in maintaining our client's reputation for culinary innovation and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop teams to maximize their contributions and foster a culture of excellence.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards across all operations.
Develop and implement food service plans aligned with the client's mission and vision, including sustainable practices.
Manage budget and financial performance, including cost controls and revenue growth.
Establish and maintain systems for ordering, receiving, storing, and serving food products, as well as menu planning and development.
Foster effective client and customer relationships at all levels within client organizations.
Supervise unit personnel in areas such as production, merchandising, quality control, and employee training.
Participate in the sales process and contract negotiations.
Identify opportunities for introducing new products and services to support sales growth and client retention.
Ensure full compliance with operational standards, including food and labor requirements.
Implement and sustain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the front-of-house operations in dining facilities.
Conduct periodic inventory checks and maintain records to comply with standards and regulations.
Recruit, hire, develop, and retain front-line teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of food service experience.
1-3 years of management experience required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate effective client relationships.
Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive food service experience.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing for extended periods.
