    Job Description

    General Summary

    Assist in company compliance to insurance, contract, licensing, and procedural requirements. Function as a flexible resource in back-office accounting processes.

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Maintain subcontractor files according to compliance checklist.

    2. Verify vendor compliance with insurance requirements.

    3. Maintain compliance with licensing requirements at state, local, and federal levels.

    4. Work with insurance companies to ensure that all policies are current and audit amounts due.

    5. Approve payment disbursements, ensuring authorization is obtained according to company procedures.

    6. Ensure correct coding of invoices according to chart of accounts.

    7. Assist with coordinating travel and lodging

    8. Coordinate maintenance of 17 facilities across Florida and North Carolina

    9. Review all company leases and customer contracts to ensure contracted obligations are communicated to responsible parties and adhered to.

    10. Cross train on all functions of the Business Services department

    11. Contract related items, including reviewing and processing vendor and customer contracts.

    12. Data entry will be a good portion of this position.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    1. Knowledge of construction industry licensing and insurance a plus.

    2. Critical reading comprehension of legal documents.

    3. Accounting knowledge with understanding of flow to General Ledger.

    4. Strong ability to adhere to established company procedures and processes.

    5. Excellent organizational skills and ability to adhere to deadlines and follow up through completion.

    6. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel with ability to create pivot tables.

    7. Ethical work conduct.

    Education and Experience

    1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field

    2. Prior insurance administration experience.

    3. Prior experience work with reimbursable employee expense management

    4. Prior compliance experience in day to day operations within a mid- to large-sized company.

    5. Detailed oriented and flexible to work on several projects at once.

    6. Excellent customer service skills.

    7. Oral and written communication skills are required.

    Other Requirements

    1. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

    2. Travel required: negligible
