    As they continue to expand, they are searching for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team and take charge of designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in electrical engineering, specifically in building layout design, and collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure a seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems, delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs.

    What YOU will be doing at this progressive company:

    • Designing customized electrical systems for diverse building projects, including optimizing layouts, integrating security systems, establishing telecommunications infrastructure, and implementing fire protection mechanisms.
    • Coordinating with utility companies to create efficient electrical distribution channels into buildings, ensuring a reliable power supply and smooth connectivity.
    • Building strong partnerships with mechanical engineers to enhance project performance and efficiency by aligning electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Adhering strictly to United States industrial and building codes throughout the electrical design process to ensure compliance and safety standards.
    • Providing expert advice on electrical engineering, offering solutions to tackle complex challenges encountered during projects.
    • Maintaining effective communication with project teams to facilitate coordination and information exchange for timely completion of electrical design tasks.

    What is REQUIRED to EXCEL in this dynamic role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, showcasing a strong foundation in electrical principles.
    • 8-10 years of practical experience in electrical engineering, focusing on building layout design.
    • Possession of a P.E. or E.I.T. designation is preferred.
    • Proficiency in relevant software tools used for electrical design to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
    • Familiarity with United States industrial and building codes to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with teams and stakeholders.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating adaptability and resilience to deliver results within deadlines.
