    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Virtual Travel Customer Service to join our team at GlobeTrek Consulting. As a Virtual Travel Customer Service, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to support clients from anywhere while providing expert guidance and support.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by promptly responding to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, and addressing concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    2. Booking Assistance: Assist clients with booking flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings.
    3. Itinerary Management: Manage travel itineraries for clients, including making changes to reservations, providing updates on travel plans, and confirming bookings with travel suppliers.
    4. Documentation Support: Assist clients with obtaining necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, and provide guidance on requirements and deadlines.
    5. Problem Resolution: Handle client complaints, inquiries, and issues effectively and efficiently, working to find satisfactory solutions and ensure a positive customer experience.
    6. Supplier Communication: Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers to confirm bookings, gather information, and assist in resolving any issues or changes.
    7. Travel Advice: Offer expert advice and recommendations to clients on destinations, attractions, activities, and travel options to enhance their travel experience and meet their individual preferences.
    8. Post-Travel Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after their trip to gather feedback, address any concerns or issues, and ensure their satisfaction with the overall travel experience.
    9. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, organizing travel documents, and maintaining client records, to support the smooth operation of the customer service department.
    10. Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery to enhance the customer experience.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
    • Proficiency in using customer service software, booking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client inquiries, bookings, and documentation.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to support client needs and time zone differences.
    • Passion for travel and a desire to provide exceptional service to clients.
