    Business Development Representative

    Objectives of this Role

    • Managing both existing referral relationships and developing new business opportunities
    • Supporting the VP Business Development with new marketing initiatives
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new business opportunities
    • Builds strong communication between admissions team and business development
    • Utilizes the companies CRM and processes for tracking and documenting referrals and referents, documents all activities in the CRM
    • Meets quarterly KPI goals under business development team
    • Represent My Time at industry events and community outreach events
    • Support VP Business Development with referral out placement of clients
    • Cultivate referrals and drive new business
    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of My Time Recovery, affiliated programs, and the owner and promote positively
    • Assist and support Admissions team and rotates with the on-call admissions line
    • Operates tasks with urgency and is passionate to help people struggling with substance abuse and mental health.
    • Manages an organized day to day calendar to ensure accountability
    • Dresses professionally for all community and industry related activities and events

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of My Time Recovery Programming and Clinical Practice and Corporate Business Development policies and guidelines.
    • Maintain a schedule of primary sources including business, industry referents, hospitals, EAPs, physicians/licensed practitioners, and allied health professionals. Document every contact in the appropriate Customer Management Relationship system.
    • Maintain business development referral/admission records and statistics, including the preparation of business development reports and materials.
    • Target and create new strategies for increasing business in a highly competitive market.
    • Develop and maintain key business development accounts and respond to all business development opportunities urgently.
    • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the facility by acting as a major link between the facility, referral sources and the general public.
    • Take direction, guidance, training and support from the VP Business Development and Admissions
    • Generate face to face meetings and admissions activity per goal as indicated by VP.
    • Maintain collaborative working relationship with Admissions Department.
    • Provides effective account management of assigned accounts.
    • Actively seeks to identify new potential referral sources.
    • Routinely participates in relevant community organized meetings, events, conferences and programs.
    • Participates in the development and execution of marketing special events as assigned by the Director of VP
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the VP. including admission line phone rotation
    • Hosts lunch and learns, in-services, and tours to promote My Time and its affiliated programs.

    Requirements

    • Must have 1 year of experience in treatment/addiction Business development.
    • Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and current treatment
    • Excellent communication skills and organization skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
    • Ability to foster relationships with sustainable referral sources
    • Must have existing book of business that will transfer to new role

    Knowledge of the KIPU CRM is preferable
