Job DescriptionDescription:Position Summary:
The Sales Development Representative's (SDR) primary responsibility will be to generate top-of-funnel lead flow for the Account Executive (AE) sales team in the form of scheduled, well-qualified calls with new prospects within an assigned territory. You will accomplish this by conducting outbound prospecting activities such as calls, emails and social media campaigns in targeted markets using lead generation technologies and tools.
Management will work with you to establish key targets and metrics for measurement of results and baseline performance of your duties. Sales management and the marketing team will work with the SDR to support your efforts with effective prospecting content, measuring its results and improving and updating it.

Essential Functions:
1. Conduct outbound prospecting by phone, email, social media and other channels to generate qualified leads & appointments for the sales team.
2. Log Activity and maintain Lead/Account/Contact/Opportunity status updates in the CRM system to enable successful measurement of prospecting efforts. Maintain all sales resources and databases such that they are kept up to date and accurate.
3. Meet or exceed activity metrics for outreach calls, appointments set, opportunities added and prospecting time.
4. Research accounts to understand need, enable effective follow up, and generate interest.
5. Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections and conduct effective early-cycle discovery and qualification.
6. Leverage social media (eg. Linkedin), industry databases, and industry news to effectively engage with prospects.
7. Support Account Executive (AE) in progressing opportunities through the sales funnel to generate Closed Won revenue.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Functions:
1. Build relationships and effectively communicate with the overall sales team, marketing team, client services team and management to deliver the best service possible to our customers and to maximize revenue opportunities for FAI.
2. Proactively look for opportunities to improve and optimize outbound lead management.
3. Learn relevant aspects of CDS sales functions to support sales activity and provide coverage as needed. Example: Reviewing quotes to ensure accuracy before delivery to the customer.
Requirements:Skills/Qualifications required:
1. 1-2 years related customer service or sales experience
2. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to act as a liaison for the customer
4. CRM experience
5. Strong analytical skills
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Exceptional time management skills
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet established goals and objectives
9. Ability to handle frequent change in a dynamic environment
10. Proficiency in MS Office Applications
11. Other duties as assigned
Additional Highly Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
1. Experience with Salesforce CRM
2. Marketing / Communications degree
Work Environment:
1. Required to have a dedicated work area that provides information privacy.
2. Travel as needed
