    Position Summary:


    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Finance oversees a range of responsibilities including development, refinancing, acquisitions, and asset management.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


    Supporting financial analysis for new development projects, involving the creation of budgets, operating proforma, and capital structure assessments, while evaluating potential returns.

    Conducting comprehensive analysis of cash flows, investment returns, valuations, and debt underwriting for informed decision-making.
    Preparation of offering memorandums for new development projects or refinancing initiatives.
    Evaluation of potential investment opportunities, engaging with third-party service providers, and conducting thorough market analyses.
    Development and maintenance of long-term forecasts and models using various software tools such as Excel, Argus, and MRI.
    Assisting in the preparation, compilation, and processing of necessary documents for financing transactions, including SNDA's, estoppels, and lease abstracts.

    Providing ongoing support to the CFO and finance team in asset management activities, including insurance management, cash flow projection, and addressing shareholder issues.

    Contributing to various modeling projects, conducting qualitative and quantitative research to assess risks and opportunities, and preparing ad hoc Excel/Argus models as required.

    Offering lateral support to the Controller, Operation Leads, and Development teams, while collaborating with the Director of Financial Planning and the Controller on special projects like cash flow planning, financial reports, and long-term forecasts.

    Assisting in the development of customized KPI reports, dashboards, and other decision support tools for distribution across different platforms.

    Participating in the review and enhancement of finance and accounting processes to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness in serving the company.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in finance, real estate, or accounting, preferably with 3+ years in investment banking or real estate finance.

    A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is required, with a master's degree or graduate certificate in real estate preferred.

    Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    The ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment is crucial. Successful candidates will undergo a background check and demonstrate exemplary modeling skills.
