    The

    Health & SafetyManager


    will be responsible for driving process improvements through statistical analysis of injury data to identify and address the root cause of employee injuries.


    Other Duties:

    • Responsible for driving process improvements through statistical analysis of injury data to identify and address the root cause of employee injuries.
    • Make decisions regarding the deployment of resources to address initiatives, projects, training, and issues that arise during operations.
    • Communicate health, safety, and security topics effectively to all levels of management and employees.
    • Collaborate with Operations Management to develop process improvements through statistical analysis using Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to identify the root cause of employee injuries.
    • Process improvements may include training, reengineering, job safety analysis and waste reduction.
    • Ensure positive employee and internal customer relations by meeting with employees regarding safety issues, resolving employee complaints, abatements and following up on each issue and addressing safety concerns.
    • Drive behavioral safety initiatives and promote a safety minded culture.
    • Prepare and/or provide input regarding annual facility site HSS Department budget.

    Qualifications :

    • Experience with accident investigation, safety audit programs for manufacturing
    • Experience in security protocols and management is a PLUS
    • Strong Environmental protection, Safety, Industrial hygiene, Medical and health Standards knowledge
    • Strong ISO 14001 and ISO45001 system knowledge
    • Knowledge of Federal, state, and local
    laws/regulations/requirements

    related to Health, Safety ( Security experience is a PLUS)


    • PC literate, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) (b) Skills (As in technical, management & general skills)
    • Good team-building and organizational abilities
    • Comfortable in high technology, multi-shift, manufacturing environment
    • Proven management and supervisory abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • 5 years minimum proven experience
    • BS Technical Degree Preferred. (5 years minimum proven experience in technical role could compensate for lack of academic qualifications)
